Wilder, the incoming president of the Risk and Insurance Management Society, recently had to attend the "Winter X Games", a collection of 'extreme' events sponsored by Disney's ESPN, to assess and control risks. Wilder oversees safety and risk management issues for Disney; the spate of acquisitions that Disney has made has complicated his job. Wilder is currently focusing on the construction of the "Disney's California Adventure" theme park.
